“Qilu Seven Stars”: Shandong Intelligent Manufacturing Finds Its New Positioning

The Big Dipper guides travellers at night; the Qilu Seven Stars light up the coordinates for artificial intelligence in Shandong. Recently, the special session on domain-specific large models of the "Qilu Manufacturing Parlor" was held in Shandong. At the event, the "Domain-Specific Foundation Models：Qilu Seven Stars", consisting of seven major domain-specific intelligent large models from Shandong, made a collective debut. Backed by the solid industrial scenarios of this major industrial province, they have become highlights with strong local characteristics. They serve as a vivid industrial calling card for Shandong to further implement the "AI+" initiative and build a national hub for AI innovation.
Up to now, Shandong has had 389 large models passing third-party evaluations. In the first half of this year, taking into account five core indicators including technical performance, economic benefits, public recognition, industrial tracks and practical deployment, Shandong selected and released 100 key domain-specific large models for promotion. On this basis, the province carefully picked and launched the landmark achievement "Domain-Specific AI Qilu Seven Stars", which were featured in roadshows and presentations showcasing landmark technologies and innovative products at the special session.
